depends on the crime and who committed it

Only for serious criminals who have repeated and are feared to repeat their crimes again, such as serial killers. People who commit a crime in the spur of the moment as if it was a one-time thing shouldn't get a death penalty.

I believe it should be cheaper.

A bullet to the head is far cheaper faster and just as painless as some overpriced dog killer in a needle.

Maybe not as pretty but it is just as humane.

No because I think everyone has the potential to reform.

why do people think the justice system should be focused more on rehabilitation than actual justice (call it revenge if you want it is still the same)

Because rehab will produce better citizens

Revenge justice only decreases the chances of having better citizens

The purpose of a punishment is generally to get the punished to not want to do what they did again, and the death penalty isn't really deterring anyone

The point isn't supposed to be about better citizens it is supposed to be about justice

Why the hell would you want justice when you can have better people
